Shirinai: Through One's Eyes

I am Kia Takamaru. Kia Takamaru of Team Ryu. If you don't know my story, I'll tell you. My parents were eaten by a ninja Sin. Sensei Gary and Ryu took in and promised me that they would take care of me. Living with Sensei Gary has taught me a lot, such as basic ninja skills and Wood style Jutsu. But now, I have a family. Sensei Aunt Ren, Uncle Miso, Aunt Destiny, Uncle Tryga, and Uncle Kyoma. Since I've been training as a ninja, I've gotten to go on ninja missions. This was my first mission on my own, where I was a part of the 3 man squad and not just along with them. Along on the mission with me is Destiny and Miso, they are known as Team Ryu Storm. Our mission was to take weapons that Miso made to the Fire Village.

The village was big, real big. A lot of people were walking around buying things at different stores. The marketplace smelt great, so many different sweet scents. "Where's the place at, Miso?" Destiny asked. She brushed her hair out of her face. Destiny is pretty. She has brown-black hair, white eyes and cream color skin. She was wearing her usual white ninja garb but today she was wearing light blue shorts and no scarf. Miso answered back, "Uhh, I don't know hahaha." Miso is the biggest person I've ever seen. I heard Tryga say he is 6'5". His clothes all ways seemed to be the same, Yellow jacket and chain-mail, today he carried a black bag on his shoulder. I tugged on Miso's shirt "Can we get some food?" I asked. "Sure, why not?" He answered with a big smile. Destiny took me by my hand and we walked through the people into a ramen shack. When we got in, I stared into the crowd of people I didn't know. Miso went to the counter to order the food and came back with a box of ramen to go. When he came back, I noticed two strangers in green cloaks following him. I walked passed Miso and walked in front of the strangers. "Who are you?" I asked. The shorter one pulled off his hood. "Hey Kia." He said. "Hello Darki." Miso said above me. Darki was the 4 tailed Avatar who had helped Gary save me. "Hello Zain." Destiny said behind me. The taller figure took off his hood. He had straight black hair and deep red eyes. "Hey." he replied. "What are you guys doing in the Fire village?" Zain asked. "We're on a mission." I said proudly. Darki had a big smile on his face. "I bet you're really strong now, aren't you Kia?" This made me feel good. "Yes, I'm very strong." Miso handed me the box of ramen. "We're here delivering some weapons I made." Miso said. "It's a rich family I heard," Destiny added "That's how they afforded Miso." They laughed; I didn't get the joke though. It felt weird being left out so I began eating my ramen. "We're here looking for my apprentice Asaso." Darki said. Miso made a funny face "Eh, isn't that the ninja who has a grudge against Gary?" Zain narrowed his eyes at Darki, "Why didn't anyone tell me about this?" "Even to this day, he won't tell me what his grudge is against him." Darki shrugged.
Sensei Gary told me about Asaso, he wasn't a normal ninja. Gary said he wasn't fully human, that when Ryu seen and sensed him, he was almost half insect. It never made sense to me, and still doesn't. Ryu and Sensei Gary said they have made an attack to kill him without fail. Gary wouldn't tell me but when I asked Ryu, he did. He said once when saving Sensei Ren, they fused and something happen. I couldn't quite understand but it had to do with Ryu's animal powers. Ryu also told me that if I was ever around when they used it, to leave as far as I could. With that, I assumed Asaso must have been powerful.

"Destiny. We have a mission to do." I said aloud, interrupting their talk. "Ah, that's right haha" Miso laughed. Zain looked at me, "She's make a good ninja." I smiled. "We really should go though" Destiny said. I hugged Darki. I owed him, he helped Sensei save me. Miso and Destiny shook Zain and Darki's hands and we left. As we walked through the Village, I ate my ramen. The village was really busy, I had no idea how we were gunna find the place but I knew Destiny and Miso would. Destiny tapped me on the shoulder "May I have some of your ramen?" she asked. I smiled and held up the ramen to her. She took and ate some "Thank you. We're here." She said. I looked around to see Miso going into a store. I followed behind him in. The store was a big market, it looked like the made clothes there. "Hello!" Miso called. An old lady came out of the back. "Hello, how may I help you?" she asked. She was old and wrinkly like all old people. Destiny had a fake smile on. I knew because Gary told me she didn't like old people and whenever she fully smiled and there was no joke, it was fake. "We have a delivery for a Mister…Suilari" Miso said. The old lady scratched her head and looked around. "Ron!" she yelled "Your weapons are here." Me and Destiny looked at each other and giggled. The old lady laughed at what, I don't know and said "He'll be out in moment" and hobbled back into the back. Miso turned around, looked at us, and let out a big sigh. Destiny turned and gave me a big hug. We waited about 10 minutes before Ron came out. He was young; he looked at least 13 years old. "Hey!" He said "How thanks much for bringing my weapons Miso." Miso took the black bag off his shoulder and laid the weapons across the counter. There was 20 water kunai, a steel and wood staff, and 100 shuriken, all wooden and gas soaked. These were all fire and water based weapons Miso makes. I helped craft the wood for the fire based weapons. "These are all of them. That'll be 80,000." Miso said. The kids eyes widen then he went into his pocket and handed the money to Miso. Miso pocketed the money and we walked back out into the street. "I didn't like that guy." Miso told me. "Why?" I asked. He shrugged. "Gosh, for no reason?" Destiny laughed. We laughed. It was pretty funny. Suddenly Miso stood in front of me and Destiny pressed my back against her chest. "Do you sense that?" Destiny asked. Miso nodded. They were in defense position, defending me. We were in the middle of walking people and crowds; I couldn't make out anything that was going on. I was scared. Everything around me became a blur, everything was moving too fast for me. On the ground I seen a scorpion running toward me. "Ew." And I stepped on it. I wasn't scared anymore. But when I looked up, everything was spinning again. Miso and Destiny were gone. I was lost. "Miso! Destiny!" I drew some shuriken. I was in the village alone. I looked around. Something had gone wrong. I ran from building to building but all the doors were locked. I couldn't stand it. I screamed. Everything and everyone had stopped. I thought for a moment what Sensei Gary had taught me, it wasn't real. This was a Genjutsu.
Me and Miso traveled in silence, Kia's chakra signature was fading fast. I had no clue how they manage to take from right next to us, they had to be strong to be able to do it so fast. 'Dammit Miso we have to catch up." I yelled. We left the village east bound through the woods. "I know, I know we have to hurry!" If Gary and Ren out found Kia was kidnapped they'd be angry we didn't tell them. "Miso! Go back and tell Gary about Kia." Miso almost slowed down to a stop, "What? I can't let you go alone!" "Umm, yeah you can, just go and tell the rest of the team." I could tell he didn't want to. I began to speed up. We had to catch up to her. I heard Miso shuffling around in his bag 'Dammit Miso! What are you looking for at a time like this?" He opened his bag and tossed a small bag to me. "Lightning flash bangs, rip the seal off and throw them into the air and I’ll be able to find you." Miso said. I nodded, then he turned around and headed backwards back to the village. With that I took off, fused the Wind Chakra with the wind around me and took off with the wind. I didn't know where I was headed but I had to go, her energy was fading fast. I had no clue what I was up against, whatever I was ready. I was ready to test my new attack.

"What do you want, Zain?" I groaned. He was in my way to getting back to the others. He had taken his cloak of off and his hand was flaming. "I want to prove I'm superior to you, and kill you." he sneered. I rolled my eyes, Zain has always tried to fight me, but this wasn't the time. "Eh fine, but let’s make this fast." I dropped my bag. Zain had this strange thing about if he killed all the Beasts' Avatars, he'd be the most powerful. I couldn't for the life of me figure out how that would be since Gary can’t really use the Beast's Chakra, and we all knew Kyoma was the most powerful. No one rightly knows what made Zain so crazy but he wasn't always trying to kill everyone. We were a fire hazard to the woods but that was going be hard to avoid. I looked up into the sky at the clouds. "Your move, Zain." I said. "Phoenix Gust!" He swipe with his flaming hand, sending waves of fire at me. " Lightning Style! Static Wave!" I reversed all the electricity waves in the air and his waves exploded. "So the power of the 6 tailed Beast isn't over told is it?" he laughed. I didn't want to play games. "Claws of the 6 tailed Beast!" Lightning Chakra formed into claws around my hands, and I launched at him. I was faster than him, I ran and I grabbed his shoulders, and tossed him into the air. I followed up "Strike!". He was struck by a lightning bolt from a overhead cloud and slammed him back into the ground. I jumped into the air and began to spin in my descent and surround myself in electricity, "Bolt!" I spiraled down toward him. Half way down he retaliated. Flaming shuriken shot out at me. I broke from my attack and landed. "Phoenix Burst!" Flames shot into the air. I looked up to see fireballs raining down. I jumped out of their path to be met in mid air by Zain's fist in my stomach, "Lightning Style! Live Wire!" I charged my chain-mail with electricity and shocked him, then grabbed his arm with my claws and flung him away from me. I landed and turned to face him. "Phoenix Blast!" He spat spiraling flames at me that I brushed off with a slash from my claws and the flames scattered. "The claws of the 6 Tailed Weasel aren't easy to beat!" I laughed. Zain charged but I grabbed him and slammed him into the ground. I lifted my claw to finish him but he exploded. I was sent flying into the flames on the ground. The fire began to burn my clothes so I ripped my jacket off and wore only my chain-mail. Zain stood in a tree above me; I had hit an exploding clone. "You would never lose easy." I complained, "again with the constant fighting with me." I hopped out of the fire and looked at the sky again; it was a bright day, hardly any clouds. "Well Zain you'll have to catch me." I took off running in the opposite direction, picking my bag up on the way. I knew he'd follow me but I had some where i needed to go. I could sense Zain summoning his chakra, so I sped up. I had no clue what he was doing but I didn't like it. I drew an exploding kunai and jumped as high as could over the tree tops and surveyed the area "I can’t sense him anymore." then I seen him. "Dammit!" his arms were flaming and Fire Chakra had formed wings on his back. "I perfected my Phoenix Rebirth technique!" he yelled as he flew towards me. I threw my exploding kunai, but he flew right through it. There were no clouds in sight and my decent was slow to the tree tops, he was going to hit me. I charged my chain-mail again and endured the hit. He grabbed me with him flaming arms and began to climb higher into the sky. We were struggling, the burns his flames were inflicting were intense, but I discharged more and more electricity. "I'm going to kill you!" He laughed. The flames intensified and began to melt my chain-mail. "Gahhhhh crap! Dammit!" I screamed in pain. I could feel the melting metal burning my skin. Zain squeezed me began to sped up the ascend into the sky. I couldn't take the speeds and the burning, I began to lose consciousness. "I'm going to drive you into the ground!" He yelled. I couldn't look down "Shut up, Zain." I struggled to say. The air became cold and moist, and Zain slowed down, the flames on his arms died down. We were in clouds. The clouds were tempering with his flame wings. This was the chance I needed. I began to twisted and squirm. "Fall to the ground and die!" and he let me go. I turned my bag over and set a summoning seal on a lightning tagged kunai and threw it into a cloud. "Summoning!" I yelled and it exploded. A massive bolt of lightning struck Zain then it formed into a bird. "Thunder Bird!" It let out a cry and dove down and caught me by my chain mail. Zain fell to earth. "Take me to the camp, por favor." I asked. It cried and carried me north. Thank God for the Thunder Bird.

"Ugh, not again." As we traveled, I could sense Zain was coming up on us. "Oh boy. Drop me here, please." I said. The Thunder Bird released me and I hit the tree tops and began to run. This time I didn't stall, I ran as fast I could. Zain flew the tree tops and soared over me. He drew a deep breath and began spewing flames; I could sense he was getting closer. I dug a water kunai out of my bag and threw it behind me. "Bang!" It missed. I heard Zain laugh and it started to piss me off. The Thunder Bird was still above us "Ascend!" I yelled. It swooped down through the tree tops and carried me into the sky again, Zain followed behind. I looked over to an empty spot dead ahead, bare, no trees; it was the beginning to the Mountain Range. "Drop me there." I commanded. With that, at full speed the Thunder Bird dove to the empty plain. Zain slowed down behind us. The bird dropped me off in the barren land. "Thank you for the help, you're done here." I said thanks to the bird. I released the summoning and it poofed away. Zain flew to me and hovered. "Now you finally stopped running." He said with a smirk. "Eh." I shrugged ripping the chain-mail off and throwing the pieces into the air. "My move. Thunder Golem's Lance!" I summoned a pure Lightning Chakra lance. "Let's fight then." Zain challenged. I ran at Zain and began to jab and swing. He took to the air again to evade my strikes, as I had predicted. "Lightning Style! Livewire Bolt!" I discharged the electricity I stored in the pieces of the chain-mail and bolts blasted everywhere. One bolt hit Zain's wing and caused it to explode. Zain lost air and hit the ground. I waited for him to get up; I knew he could have something in waiting if I got any closer. His eyes were glowing red, I knew what this meant. "So I see you've unleashed the Red Bird Spirit of the South." I said bothered. He laughed "Did it before you thought I would huh?" He said as he rose from the ashes and smoke. His one wing flapped around before it just erupted flamed and turned into a Fire Chakra sword. He ripped the sword off his back and began lashing it around. I lifted my lance; this was only the first stage of the Phoenix Spirit.

He charged, swinging the sword savagely, I was barely able to evade each attack. His strength doubled and his speed increased greatly. Every time he struck I could feel the heat from him body increasing. Our dual continued, but I couldn't counter strike, and if I didn't, I'd be overwhelmed. Zain's attack stalled and he rushed to attack again; I caught the stall and struck. I jabbed as hard as I could. Zain's sword exploded into flames, flinging him backwards. The flames swirled around him and formed into another set of wing, but this time they were flesh and feathers. His red wings flapped wildly, and released a storm of feathers. He stood up and ripped his shirt off; he was covered in red flame like markings. He lifted his hand and the feathers began to swirl and launched at me I dispelled them with one swipe. He ran at me, swinging with his fist and wings. I blocked each blow with the lance, which the electricity didn't seem to bother him. He threw a jab that I caught, and slammed him into the ground, but he thrust out with his wings. Before he could make any other move and stabbed him with my lance and discharged. He screamed and flew backwards. "Gotcha." I thought. Suddenly his wings flapped frantically sending disks of fire at me me. The flames burned s I had to create distance between us. When the attack was over Zain smiled then took to the air, the red marks now consumed more of his body and flames flared out of his eyes. Zain opened a palm to me "Phoenix's Cremation, Call of Death!" The flames that were spiraling around his arm centered into the palm of his hand. I absorbed the lance's energy and charged. I heard rumors of Zain's attack, it's rumored to have burnt powerful Mist ninjas to ashes, but I had no idea how it worked. The flame ball in his palm expanded. "Death!" He yelled. I braced for impact, but the ball split into three and each landed around me. Three flames surrounded me, spinning and created a barrier about 6 feet tall. "What the hell-" I realized what was going to happen and pulled out and laid down a water scroll. "Suiton!" I activated the scroll and it expelled water around me. I heard him close his palm and the flames rose. "Discharge!" I released the electricity I stored into the water. The flames enraged and exploded as they came at me and the water dispelled them. The area was covered in stream, I ran in the direction away from Zain, towards the mountains. "Uh-huh, he traps them with the three flames; they expand and consume his opponents." I thought "This is going to be harder than I thought." Zain followed me into the steam; I could sense his chakra behind me. I ran out of the steam and stopped. I turned around to see Zain was already preparing to repeat his attack. Just as he released the ball, a shadow shot out from under me. Kyoma jumped out of the shadow and swung his swords and destroyed the ball of flames. Zain stopped in his tracks. "Haha, I've been wanting to fight you," he laughed at Zain "Don't think because you gained a little bit more power you're stronger than me." This was a relief, Kyoma was more than a match for Zain. I wasn’t sure how Kyoma knew where exactly we were but I was glad he found us. "Alright, no time to sit here and chit chat Kyo, I have to go to Gary." I said to Kyoma as I began to walk further into the mountains. "Next time beat him, Fat Boy." Kyoma teased. “Meh.” I sighed back. I slightly turned my head to see he was using two blades again; his Snake Blade kutana was glowing black. It was going to be a long fight for him. I raised a hand to Kyoma before taking off to get to base.

An underground, underwater, secret lab. I couldn't believe it, and I was extremely lucky to find the entrance. Toxin village had this the whole time and no one knew about it. I could sense Kia on the other side of this brick wall, as well as another avatar. I waded along the corridor trying to feel for a draft of wind that would indicate a door but couldn't find any. This place was a horrible maze to get into but the drafts of wind lead me through hidden doors and traps. Although this place was dark and damp, it was really hot. I couldn't make out where the hot air was coming from or if the structure was just hot itself. "I hate being in this place." I said. I continued to walk further to what I believed was closer to Kia. I wonder who it was that brought her here and why, she wasn't any older than 5 years old, what could she possibly have that anyone would want. There was a draft of wind behind me, I turned around but the draft stopped. I continued forward. I could sense movement ahead of me so I ran to it. It was a door; I could smell a strange smell coming through a square on the wall. I inspected the square and found a latch and a button; the latch had been broken off. I pressed the button and waited for the door to open. It opened slowly to reveal a lab on the other side. It was strange; there were huge tanks filled with orange liquid and tubes connected to them. Everything in the room was a dull gray color, and there were no sounds. The cupboards were filled with jars and strange creatures inside of them; it was the far right side of the room there was a chair where someone could be strapped down. I walked over to the chair and inspected it. It was used, there were claw marks in it, and it was probably used to torture someone. Over the head of the chair was a large tube that extended from the wall and lord knows where, but equal to that there was a long I.V. with a need at the end. The thought of what they did with that made me cringe. In the cupboards next the chair was an array of weapons, my guess which were used to further torture the victims. On the other side there was another display case, but this one had many tubes and wires, thin pieces of metal plates. There were two huge cells with huge metal bars thicker than a leg. The smell of metal and flames was heavy in the air. Primary coming from a huge vat. I climbed up the step ladder and looked into the vat, it was filled with a silvery purple substance, I pulled out a kunai and stirred it a little. The kunai rusted and deteriorated off. "Oh wow." I thought. I wanted to look at the jars next but I knew it would be a bad idea. Most striking thing in the lab were the large gashes in the roof of the room, I followed a gash to what looked like something had melted the wall. I turned around a surveyed the rest of the room. My eyes were immediately drawn to a shelf that seemed to be torn down. On the table below the self there were papers ragged and spread out. They looked torn and clawed up, old. I looked around for more papers; there was a large vault that had been ripped open behind the cupboard. "Someone was in a hurry to get into here." I whispered. I slid my hand into the vault and pulled out more papers, there weren't many. After a few minutes I figured that this was an experimentation room and not a torture room. I looked around to see the structure of the room made sense. What I further read was far more disturbing than being in the room its self.

Test Subject A:
Day 34: The fusing of the centipede and the human DNA was successful, though, it is unsure of how well it will hold in a human body, or what the side effects it may have. So far our research has shown that the test subject has to be perfect match of human DNA, although detaching the DNA has been unsuccessful. We will have to wait and we will see how this goes.
Day 38: Test Subject A is stronger than we previously thought. This is good; he will be able to withstand any side effects the testing may have on him. His physical strength and endurance is uncanny. The daily beatings currently have no effect. His vitals never change. This is excellent! We've past all expectations, the last test subject couldn't compare. The toxic ingestion testing went perfect. His is body is completely immune to the poisons. All the veins in his body have been replaced with cybernetic tubes; this will later allow his body to circulate venom without harm to his body. Next to fuse his body with the DNA. Previous subjects' bodies implode from the pressure or the inter-fuse process. There currently have been studies showing there is a bloodline that does so but we haven't had success finding it. This will be crucial to our research.

The pages were wet and smeared.

Day 189: Using the fusion DNA we were able to fuse the centipede DNA with our test subject, his body morphed drastically. Orange and gold scales are appearing all over his body. He also seems to have the ability to control when and where they appear. The durability of the scales is unknown. He says the power is overwhelming, he can feel the insect enhanced physical capabilities, although he complains of his eyes hurting, his sense of sense has increased, and his sense of feel has also increase. Further test will be done.
6:3 P.M.: His speed has increased 4x. His strength remains the same. His flexibility increased 10x. His stamina increased 4x. These results are perfect. He has also displayed he can secrete venom from the cybernetic tubes we connected to the lymph nodes in his mouth.

Day 210: Blood stains the walls of his room, He is bleeding from his nose and mouth, and he has also gone blind. His eyes are all purple, no pupil. Could it be possible this experiment has gone awry? He claws aimlessly at the wall and his scales appear and reappear. He has also lost his voice, but when we speak to him and seems to react but cant reply. He periodically has seizures, and vomits. One of the factors in the experiment must have gone wrong. He is secreting the venom onto the floor and eating the soil under the cement. Strange behavior. We will wait a day and read over our note and review possible flaws we could have caused. We will have to wait until tomorrow, and further observe the changes. This can set our research back months, we'll have to change and consider every factor possible.

It skipped forward, I assumed to another experiment because the days on the logs had changed, but the previous papers seemed older and written by a different person.
Day 22: The cybernetics have further enhanced the progression and success of our experiments. Veins, arteries, lymph nodes, minor organs and such have all been replaced with cybernetic versions of themselves. This allows for the Widow DNA to not destroy her body. We've even given her mechanic arms. Such things have never been thought of before. Drawback is her behavior has become erratic. We've only been able to control her through use of a shock collar that may interfere with the use of the cybernetics, but it’s unknown at this

- Her web is strong but not up the strength we want it to be.-
A section of the page was illegible.

-We have previously tried this, but it clogs the tubes leading to the orifices outside her hands and feet, that would endanger her life, risk we are not willing to take. So we continue to research artificial web. Luckily she is still producing venom on her own, that we will not have to supply. This also means she will begin to eat larger prey, horse and donkeys should suffice, for now. And furthermore we-

A huge smeared blotch covered the rest of the page.

I heard something shift behind me. I turned away from the papers looked at the chair at the other end of the room. Something or someone was over there. "Umm come out. I know someone's there." I called out. At first nothing happened, and then I sensed a giant exhale behind the vat. "Wind Style! Swirling Wind!" I sent a gust of wind behind the vat. An old man blew out from the opposite side of the vat. Before I knew it, he was on the offensive, spitting acid at me. I spun around and deflected it with a current of spinning wind. "You old bitch! That's gross! Why the hell were you even watching me?" I demanded. His face was covered in white hair from his beard and head, all that was visible was his mouth and nose. His body was draped in ragged red clothing, but I could easily see he was very muscular. He coughed and didn't say a word, but made a weird screeching noise. He began spitting acid at me again, and I answered back by spitting gust of wind to counter them. "You won’t tell me where Kia is so Ill just kill you!" I yelled. I turned my body to the side and opened my palm to him and it glowed white as I focused my Wind Chakra to it, I took stance. He growled and it that split second I realized who he was.

His body instantly morphed hair to antenna, skin to gold scales, legs to claws. His body expanded. He was the centipede experiment. His long swift body came at me, "Wind Style! High Gravity!" He dropped and stuck to the ground. "Okay, I can crush you like bug I don't want to get bug or human blood everywhere," I said "But I guess I have no other choice." I slowly began to increase the pressure, he squirmed and wiggled. His hundred of disgusting legs flashed with rapid movement. "You're so gross." I gagged. The insect lifted his head as high he could "You are different! You're their dog!" he squealed. This made me mad. “What's that suppose to mean?" I yelled, I began slowly sucking the oxygen from around him. "You follow the sick order of the Toxin Village and their damn abominations!" his body stopped struggling "With me dies the secrets to the precious experiments you seek!" He began to cackle and cough. "What the hell are you talking about? I'm here for Kia." I replied. The centipede morphed slowly back into an old man. "You aren't here with them are you? You mean that little girl is your daughter?" he coughed. I stopped sucking the oxygen, "What are they doing to her? Where is she?" I demanded "Why did they bring her here?" I stopped the pressure coming down on him. He rose to his knees, and coughed. "They are going to use her as an experiment, like the ones you read in those documents. Like me. Like Corina. Like Asaso." He said. I was shocked "What? Asaso is an experiment? Why Kia-" before I could finish he cut me off "Calm down, young girl. They can't do anything to her until they find the data on the procedures." I thought for a moment. "Why aren't you helping them? Didn't you die? Why didn't you stop them?" I demanded.
"No, I didn't die. After they finished the experiments, I went blind and shortly after deaf. They placed me into a hyperbolic suspension chamber. For the longest time floated in that for what felt like years. It had been centuries. Apparently they continued their experiments over hundreds of years and failed every time. Slowly but surely my eyesight started to come back. I made no attempts to alert them of this, instead I watched them. Their next experiment was Corina. She was no younger than 10. Immediately they began with the testing. Her strength, stamina, speed, flexibility, and toughness. They beat her, shocked her, forced her to live under a high pressure pool for 4 days, ran her on the tread tracks for days until her feet bled. After weeks of testing, I suppose they found her suitable. He began injecting her with small doses of an experimental drug called Dojzin. It causes extreme pain but allow the body to slowly become immune to whatever toxin is mixed with it. They strapped her into that chair over there and began injecting her every evening. I couldn't hear her scream but I could feel it. The expression on her face haunts me to this day. When they started this, I noticed at night she would get out of her bed and scream. With that, they began cutting her open and replacing her internal organs with cybernetic one like they had done to me. This took weeks, but they did it with much success. Next came the DNA. They began injecting her with a DNA unknown to me at time. They continued with the daily test which she slowly began to become better, but at night she would sit in the corner of the room and do something I couldn't see, then get in her bed. One day, while she was on the tread tracks her legs morphed into spider legs, she then passed out and bled on the tread. While the Medic-Nin attended her, she attacked them. She dragged one into her cell and under her bed. After a few weeks her behavior became violent as her transformations became more complete. Even with the shock collar they put on her, it didn't help in the end. It turned out she was eating her attendants and storing them in the nest she had made under her bed. Her transformations were complete but they couldn't control her, she would climb the walls in her cell and spin webs. When they would feed her, she would attempt to take a scientist to eat. They put her into a chamber like mine. My hearing was returning but a lot slower than my eyesight. Soon, the scientist began speaking of the Great Beast Extraction, where all the most powerful villages were to extract power from the Tailed Beast closest to that village and seal it within a baby. They spoke that that baby would be perfect for the Scorpion Project. A few weeks later they brought the baby in. An orange haired, blue eyed baby. Saddest thing, he was missing his right arm. They spoke of replacing it with cybernetic arm that would morph into an axe. At this point the experimentation began; they talked of us, calling us 'Weapons of War'. I hadn't signed up for that, in my time they told me we're super soldiers, to gain equality in the power of the Nations. I realized they were using us to make the Toxin Village stronger to start a war. The scientist began to use me, after years of never even glancing at my tank they began to see if they could see where they went wrong with me, to improve. To make Asaso better. I played deaf and blind. Soon they lowered my tank into the floor. Everything was dark. I focused on getting my hearing back. While I did so, above they continued their experiments on Asaso. His progression took years, but they were twice as successful as mine and Corina's. This was due to the fact they found a bloodline that fuse with animals, using that technique, to go with the DNA and the inter-fusion process was the perfect combination. Although, the subject would have to die, or the painful process that would trick the body's death. They would raise my tank back into the room to fail in gaining knowledge from me and there I would see Asaso, a young boy with a gold mechanical arm. Or a boy half scorpion. Though different from Corina and me, he had large purple burns all over his body. These were from the 4 Tailed Cockatrice's chakra being released during the tests. Apparently during these times he would be left in strapped down for weeks; for fear that he would turn into the 4 tailed Beast. One day I heard the alarm while my tank was in the ground. My tank was raised, and I saw dead bodies spread throughout the lab. Asaso had killed them all. All the scientist, all the medical-nin, all the security, killed by Asaso. Corina was half Spider collecting them in web sacks. She turned and looked at my tank, then called Asaso. He came over and smashed open my tank. I fell to the ground and played dead. Asaso told Corina I would be the scape-goat. When the Black Ops came to investigate, it would look like I ate the personnel, then died. They laughed and made their way out. Asaso was only 4, Corina was 17. I was damned to this place, so this is where I stayed. I got my hearing back. The Black Ops never came to the lab. Here, learned to perfect my transformation and found I age slower than most, and I only have to eat the soil under the concrete of the lab. While exploring the lab, I discovered one of the cybernetics scientists left a tap on Asaso brain. Used the tap to follow his thoughts and movements, but I couldn't understand any of it. He was, or is, unstable. Most I understood, he lost Corina in a storm near what seemed to be the Rain village, he was forced to eat grasshoppers, flies, fungus, mold, algae and mushrooms. Then before the connection was lost he was lost in the desert, alone. He came along a traveler who befriended him, but was taken away. Alone again, he lost his mind, and the power of the 4 tailed Beast released and destroyed the tap. Since then I figured he'd come back, to find the data on the experiments. I couldn't let him get to it so I devoured all the notes I could find. Then a few days ago he and Corina returned. I watched when earlier today they brought in the little girl and figured what they had planned. That is when I hid this room, the experimentation room, and awaited them to find it, so I could attempt to kill them, and prevent any further experiments, for whatever reason."
This baffled me. The pieces were easily put together. It had to be the Takamaru Beast Fusion that was used to complete the experiment on Asaso. And the stranger in the wanderer in the desert, that was Darki. That would explain Asaso grudge against Gary and why he'll only talk to Darki. The old man coughed. "Why don't you come with me? Help me get Kia." I asked. He knew this place better than I did, and he would be a greater help in the fight. The old man seemed to stare at me, I really couldn't tell. "You want my help?" he asked.

"There's plants on the other side of this wall." I thought. I could sense the roots like Ren had taught me. I looked around to make sure the spider wasn't anywhere near the room. "Wood Style! Creeping Roots!" the roots broke through the cement wall, grabbed iron bars and broke them down. "Alright, what now?" I thought "I know Destiny and Miso are somewhere nearby, they wouldn't just leave me." I thought about when Darki said he had been looking for Asaso too. That must mean he will be here soon too. I was so excited; the three of them would be near to save me. But I couldn't stand here and wait, Sensei Gary wouldn't allow it. I ran to the door and opened it. I waited a moment, ready to see a reaction. No one was there, so I left. The hallway was long and large. There was more light coming from the left so I went that way. Even though it was lighter than the right side, it was still dark. I never liked the dark but it was the only way out. As I walked, I began to think of Uncle Tryga and his amazing taijutsu. He had thought me to stay solid because it would help me with my Wood style. Plus I was a Containment Precaution. Whatever that meant but I knew I was important to everyone. Well that's what Tryga told me, so I took his word. While I was walking down the hall, I felt something like a strand of hair brush across my face. I panicked and wiped it off, but when I touched it I realized it was infused with chakra. I looked around, but couldn't see anything. This was bad news, which meant the string was there for a reason. I sat and thought for a second but I saw something coming toward me. It was a huge spider, but not the spider lady. I came running at me and was in my face. It ran around me trying to wrap its web around me to cocoon me. "Wood Style!" I morphed my arm into a long wooden stake, ripped through the web, stabbed the spider and flung it to the side. A booby trap wasn't a good sign; I was sensing something not so good. I began running. "I wish I can find Destiny and Miso." I had no clue where I was going and what would happen next but standing around wouldn't help either. There was a rumble and the ground shook. "What was that?" it distracted me. Something pulsed through my body; it rushed me hard, a surge of instinctive chakra. I ran faster, there was a door in the hall that I opened and ran through into another hall. The rumble was getting louder and harder, I was getting closer to whatever it was. Tryga said that I was blessed with the instinctive chakra of beast. It was chakra that I obtained from training with Ryu, Tora, and Shadow. He gave me plenty of pride to have it; he said it was rare for someone to adopt it. I assumed this feeling was it, whatever was urging me toward the rumbling. The feeling began stronger and the rumbling harder till I was at the spot. I was there but... it was on the other side of wall. I sensed 4 people, one of them was Destiny and the other was Asaso; the other two I couldn't tell. "How am I going to get on the other side of this wall?" I said. I was kind of sad; I had no way out of this dark maze to the other side to help Destiny. I began think of Jutsu to break the barrier down; I found it. I put my hand on the wall to use it but the wall exploded next to me and sparks flew everywhere. Through the dust and smoke I could sense Destiny fighting.

The dust cleared, Destiny was fighting Asaso. Next to them a huge centipede was fighting the spider lady. She had brought me here, wrapped me up in her web and dragged me here I felt something move in my pouch, It was a handful of seeds that had begun sprouting. Destiny must've put them in my pocket when she hugged me. The Spider Lady wrapped the centipede up in her web and came at me. 'Wood Style! Creeping Vines!" I threw the seeds at her, they exploded into thorn vines and wrapped around her. The thorns oozed poison and slowly she stopped moving. I turned to Destiny and Asaso. He wasn't fully human, he was half scorpion. He had the body legs and tail of a scorpion but the chest and head of a man, his mech-arm was an axe and the other a pincer. His skin was purple and his eyes were evil. He was spitting acid, stinging, slashing with his axe and trying to grab Destiny. I watched in horror, Destiny couldn't fight back, he was too fast and the corridor was too small. Her circular movements were barely able to dodge him "Wood Style!" Both my arms morphed into wooden stakes. "If I can make an opening, Destiny can attack back." I watched carefully, and then made my move. He swung at Destiny with his axe; I ran in and blocked it. "KIA!" Destiny yelled behind me. I felt something tight around my stomach; Asaso grabbed me with his claw and slammed me into the ground then threw me. The centipede broke free from the web and ran after me. I was scared, he was going to kill me but he just wrapped around me. When I felt we had hit the wall I heard the centipede scream. He unraveled and began flailing around. There was acid on his back. He wrapped around me to protect me from acid Asaso spit when he threw me. I ran to help but Asaso spat again "Die!" he screamed. The centipede rose up and blocked me from the acid again. "HENTA! KIA!" Destiny screamed.

Hanta slowly morphed back into an old man, back into human form. He wrapped his arms around me to protect me. Destiny's eyes glowed white, Wind Chakra surged her body. The 1 Tailed Beast's chakra took over. A Wind Aura surrounded her and her body turned all white. Her Wind Chakra Tail swished around. "Ninja Art! Toxin Erosion!" Asaso's tail sprayed acid at Destiny, but it was no use, her chakra diminished it. Her transformation was complete. She roared and slashed at Asaso. The Wind Aura cut his chest and he hopped back. There were no details in her body just the white Wind aura surrounding her. Asaso began stinging back in defense, but there was no success. "Ninja Art! 4 tailed Smog!" He sucked in and expelled a cloud of purple haze. Destiny roared, her swishing tail swallowed the haze. "Tyrant Cannon!" Destiny opened her mouth and exploded a jet stream from her mouth, blasting off Asaso's tail. His purple blood splattered everywhere and he was frantic like and insect in the heat. Within a split second, Destiny was next to him. "Typhoon Boom!" A tornado appeared on top Asaso drilling him into the ground. Destiny began slashing at the tornado spinning it faster and faster. She roared wildly, the tornado was killing Asaso. I couldn't believe it, she was going to kill him. Out of nowhere she jumped back and screeched. The tornado turned purple then exploded. Asaso was covered in a Purple Toxic Chakra aura. He unleashed the 4 tailed Beast's chakra too. They both roared at each other. Asaso's four chakra tails moved in every direction, at the same time Destiny's and Asaso's tails hit the ground. A gush of wind shot from down the corridor. Heavy gusts blasted from all directions. The ground erupted and tar splattered from craters in the ground. The two ninja's auras were causing a dimensional change for the benefit of the Beast's Chakra. Their chakra covered the whole area around us. They began fighting like Savage Beasts. Savage blasts of wind and acid were flying everywhere, the clawed and slashed at each other with their tails. Their auras took the shapes of their Tailed Beasts; the 1 tailed Shukaku and 4 tailed Cockatrice. Something inside me swirled, it left like it was trying to break free. “What's happening?" I could feel an immense power taking over me. As their battle became more intense so did the environment, and the power growing inside. I looked at Henta, then the Spider Lady for answers to what was happening to me. The Wood Chakra release in an amazing amount. "Wood Style! Forest Of Permanence!" There was a moment of silence, then trees emerged and  roots erupted from the ground. I lost all control over my body, I went limp as more and more trees grew. They over threw the tar pits and the gusts of wind. The chakra was being absorbed into me, the trees were absorbing Asaso's and Destiny's chakra into me. I didn't understand what was happening but I knew it would stop Asaso and Destiny. Soon their auras and their chakra were drained were both restrained to the ground by roots. The trees submerged into the ground, tar pits closed up, and wind diminished. Without the Beasts' chakra the environment returned to normal. I don't know what happened but it restored them to their regular forms. I seen Destiny pinned down and wanted to cry, "Let me go Henta, we need to check on Destiny." His grip was hard, I tried to wiggle free. He wouldn't let me free.

"He's dead." Darki said, for the past while he had been on his way into the labyrinth, to our location. I had sensed him while we were fighting. He pried Kia from Henta's arms. "His soul came to me, he wish to thank you Destiny, for freeing him from his hell." I got teary eyed as Kia freed me from the roots. I looked over at Asaso, who was still tied down, he glared at me. "I'll bury his body, I'll come back to you later to tell you where." Darki said, his eyes never leaving Asaso. I grabbed Kia and took her over my shoulder "Thank you Darki." He took Asaso's bloody body. When on the outside of the underground, I waited 10 minutes. "Wind Style Grand Pressure!" Underneath the water and ground the loud rumble of the crushing of the lab echoed through the woods. I watched the lake shake, and I heard the rumble, tears fell from my eyes for the death of Henta.
